HJust dropping you a note to tell you what a wonderful little fellow "Riley" is! He goes everywhere with me and is an exceptional puppy.  He has already created quite a following around the campground as that everybody knows his name and can't believe how gentle and well behaved his disposition is. He went to the vet on  6/09 and is already 12.8 lbs , he has had his second shots and goes on the 29th for his third. Other than the occasional late-nite accident he has gotten very good at telling us when to let him out ! Thanks again for the GREAT pick.  Terry Thompson   P.S.  Watching the web site for the new litter!

Just wanted to tell you that Mango (STAR and Capt Morgan) just had his first vet appt. Granted it was a bit later than we had anticipated but he is wonderful. The vet was very impressed with him. She told me to tell you Thank You. She sees alot of terrible things come thru her door but Mango was perfection as she put it. The perfect sign of health and his disposition was exactly what she expects from a golden. She said you obviously take great pride in your calling. She wished more people were like you. So from my heart and Mango and my vet a big Thank You is in order. I will send pictures a
s he progresses. Oh by the way ,he is 14 lbs at 10 wks. She said he was cute and chubby. I jut.

Hi Marilyn,

I just wanted to let you know how Savannah (Klondike & Pinky Sou's puppy) is doing.  We just began to show in Rally last weekend both her & my first time in the ring.  We placed 2nd on Saturday and Sunday we placed 1st.  I was so excited we won ribbons on top of qualifying.  She has one more leg before she gets an RN title.  Today we also showed in a Golden Retriever Certificate of Conformation Assessment.  She did quite well received high markings and qualified by all 3 AKC judges to receive her CCA certification and ribbon.  She also received a TT (Temperment Testing) title a couple months ago.  So she is now Golden Paws Savannah Tayler Strohm CGC TDI CCA TT

I am hoping within 6 months to get her certified in Search & Rescue.  My husband & I just got certified as a SARtech II by the National Association of Search and Rescue.  Their test standards are very hard so we are waiting 6 months to make sure she is able to find victims in all types of situations before we test.  It is also hard to find a K-9 SARtech test being offered in the northeastern part of US, they seem to have very few each year.  I am thinking once we get our RN title we will start training to get a AKC tracking title on her, I was told because she is a trailing dog & works on lead that she would be able to pass a tracking test.  And on top of all that, we are still training in agility and obedience.  Agility is coming, I think I am entering her into a couple CPE events before entering AKC agility due to me being new to agility.  Obedience is also coming, I think she is finally maturing enough that her attention & heeling is getting alot better.

Well, I hope you and your family are doing well.  I will keep you inform of any other good news in the near future.  We also began to test her for OFA certifications so far we passed the eye cerf, heart, and I also had the optigen lab run her bloodwork for prcd-PRA and everything is great.  Here in August we will be getting her hips, elbows, and thryoid tested.

Take Care,

Chrissy Strohm

Dear Marilyn,

Here are more recent photos of Hunter.  He is now 19 weeks old and growing bigger every day.  The vet said to expect him to get to 100 lbs of golden love.  You will have to right click twice to open

Take care.

Marilyn,

Hi.  I hope you remember us.  We got own wonderful Burton from you last year.  He is so docile & loving.  He has a great temperament with all people and all other animals.  His mother is Rachael and his father is Klondike Bear.  I noticed that Rachael’s web page is in black.  Did something happen to her?  I hope not.

The Conigliaro Family

Rachael & Klondike Bear are Parents

Charlotte, Nic, Jeff and I just wanted to say a big thank you. Black tie ...alias Cody Rogers is doing fine and is a sheer joy, a ray of sunshine . He slept most of the six hours home from Newry to Bethlehem and had all the ladies at the Wachovia drive in Umming and aghing...
I will never forget the moment when Charlotte walked through the door with Cody snuggled in her arms ..the tears streeming down our faces of grief gone by and the really hard year health wise and the loss Of Rudy our six year Golden old very suddenly in 2008 ..he melted our hearts and has completley turned our house updside down for now and we love it. Cody settled in his crate overnight and had no problem chowing down and drinking. I just cant get over how well he is doing with his potty trainning , clean crate and scratches the door to go out...seriously no kidding. He is such a quick learner!
Congratulations on the new litter of Klondike and Meringue and Way to Go Steelers, they pulled that last touch down out of no where...
I will keep in touch as he grows , he is off for a vet check  020309 ..

Hi Marilyn,
We got two puppies from you in February 2008.  They were from Sweet Pea and Captain Morgan's litter.  We got a brother and sister.  We named them Jackson and Rosebud.  They are wonderful additions to our family.  We have a son (12) and a daughter (10).  We have kids over here constantly!  Last week, we had 30 kids over to decorate gingerbread houses.  The dogs love kids, so they are no problem!  They sleep with the kids (they love sleepovers and jump on the air mattress when it is filling up).  We live in Burke, VA.  We have a lake nearby and they swim in it.  They have been to Myrtle Beach and played in the surf.  They are enjoying their first Christmas here with us.
I have included some pictures of them.
Thanks for making our family complete!

Hey Marilyn--just wanted to send you a picture of Gracie at her first Christmas/Birthday party.  She is from the Captain Morgan/Silver Star litter.  I am so happy with her...she is such a sweetheart. She has the most wonderful disposition.  I try to walk her everyday-and have been letting her off leash when the circumstances allow.  My cats especially love her when it is cold- she makes a great blanket!!!!  I certainly hit the jackpot when I stumbled upon your web-site-- I couldn't have found a better dog..... Hope you had a wonderful
Holiday Season.......MK Laner

Hi Marilyn

This is Julie Hessler. I took the last puppy from your litter this summer from Captain Morgan and Pinkie.  We picked him up in late July.  We named him Luke. He has been such a spectacular puppy!  Our older dog Jeb (who was mourning the loss of his playmate in April) has taken to him without reserve.  Luke and Jeb spend many hours wrestling and doing other important doggie things.  It's made Jeb (who is only 4) younger already.

We had a VERY scary incident this week though, so I'd like you to warn your customers.  We had just placed mulch around our plants, and some mushrooms had sprung up.  We got rid of the mushrooms and kept Luke away, but one morning when I let him out, apparently he chowed down on an excessive amount.  We found him in his crate, less than 5 hours later, covered with feces and vomit and totally out of it.  We rushed him to the ER and after 3 days, were fortunate enough to find out that there was not permanent damage to his liver and kidneys.  We're at home and trying to feed him his meds, while keeping him "quiet"  (right???)

We are so fortunate that our special puppy is ok, but I would like you to warn folks about the danger around garden mushrooms.

By the way, the people at the ER thought he was one of the most special dogs they'd seen.

Thank you for sending us Luke, and please help warn others!

Julie

Marilyn,
Merry Christmas!  Attached is a picture of Gracie who is 1 year and 5 months old.  She is just beautiful and has a terrific personality.  We are so happy that she is a part of our family.
Have a blessed Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

Marilyn,
I just wanted to let you know Savannah (Klondike & Pinkie's puppy from Aug 18, 2007) passed her AKC Canine Good Citizenship and Therapy Dog International test today.  She is now officially a therapy dog.  She is doing great, we are still training in agility and obedience and hopefully will be getting titles in those in the near future.  She is also going soon to get certified in Search & Rescue.  She is officially a K9 member of our local Civil Air Patrol Squadron 504.  I was hoping we would be certified by now for Search & Rescue but Civil Air Patrol has never had a dog team so we are still in the stages of getting guidelines approved by Civil Air Patrol National Headquarters so eventually you can say one of your puppies is one of the pioneer Search & Rescue dogs for the Civil Air Patrol.  She is a natural when it comes to trailing.  We been doing demos with the local obedience club that we are members of and Savannah is always well behaved.  People seem to always remember her and comment on how beautiful she is.  We were in the local Autumn Leaf Parade in October for the Civil Air Patrol K9 Team and we are going to be in the local Clarion, PA Christmas Parade here towards the end of November.  She is one busy little doggie but she loves to work and socialize.  I can't remember if I sent you her latest photo so I attached it to this email.  Take Care and Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello Marilyn,
This email is long overdue, but I have been meaning to send this for the longest time.
Our puppy, Jack, (Sweet Pea & Klondike 12/07), is absolutely wonderful!!!  He has filled our lives and our home with so much happiness....sometimes it's crazy, but we love it.
He is just such a bundle of energy...I think we've become younger. He loves all our kids equally and knows how each one will play with him. He is learning very quickly anything we teach him. He is housebroken now. We had a few little accidents but he understands how it works. He even sits at the front door and whimpers. Our vet loves him!!  Every time we take him (for shots) the women in the office just go nuts and our vet says he is a "perfect" golden. We even put your business card on his bulletin board.
Our neighbors and their grandchildren love to play with Jack. As the warmer weather comes we will be out in the yard more with him and the children will be over to play.
We are planning to come see you again next year at some time to get a female, after everything Jack has learned I'm sure he'll be a great teacher.
He looks just like Klondike....I think his head size is the same. Jack loves being outside and we take him for walks and let him run around a soccer field not far away. He is eating about 6 cups of puppy chow a day. He burns most of it off running around. He is a happy dog.
He is very curious about EVERYTHING. He loves sitting on our front porch and just watch...everything. He has the perfect golden stand, and when I say he looks like Klondike....I think of when he is watching things. He looks very wise, and noble.
Again, I can't say enough of how happy we all are. He has captured all our hearts and he just won't give them back....but it's ok.
Hope all is well with you and all the dogs and puppies. You are a very special person to give these puppies the best first weeks of their lives. Jack is a very happy puppy.
Thanks again
Maureen & Randy Cole

Hi Marilyn,

I wanted to give you an update on Bailey.  Offhand I am not sure who mom and dad were but she is in your fav. Puppy photos on your site.  She is second to last picture (tiger spotted blanket) and she is second from the right.  =)

She keeps our 9 year old Lab in check.  And is also a "mommy" to him.  When he is having a bad day, she mothers him.  It is pretty funny to watch.  And she loves to annoy men.  My husband and son get licked and jumped on until they say that they give up and then she leaves them alone.  When I get home from work, she will jump up with her paws on my chest and give me a quick kiss and off she goes.  Thank you so much for my little girl.  (Although she will be 3 in December..=)

Marilyn,

Here are a couple updated pictures of Gracie (7-29-08 Laala's litter).  She is doing very well!!  Well, she does like to dig especially where the rain water comes out of the drainpipe.  That would be the explanation for the first picture.  The other was taken on her 9 month birthday.  She really is a great dog.  She has been out of her crate since she was spayed in the middle of February and she was gradually given more and more of the house when we are aren't home.  At this point, she has run of the house and so far, so good.  People always comment on how beautiful she is and how soft her fur is.  Someone at the groomers wanted to know what shampoo they used on her and the groomer said that is just the way her fur is.
Thanks again for such a wonderful addition to our family!

Hi Everyone,

Well Savannah won Cutest Dog on www.worldwidefido.com  for the month of April.  I thought I share a photo of her with her crown.  Thanks to everyone for voting for her, we really appreciate it.  On top of winning a crown, she won a steel food bowl which fits inside the crown, tennis ball, nametag for her collar which has "Official Winner for Cutest Dog" on it, T-shirt for me, lanyard for me, and a gift certificate for free collar from MonAmi dog shop.  Hope everyone is doing well.

Thanks Again,

Chrissy & Savannah

Hi Marilyn,
I just wanted to give you an update on Savannah.  She is a great puppy, hardly gets into trouble, very calm and loving.  She is the spitting image of her father, Klondike.  I can't believe how much she looks like him, she is turning into a beautiful dog.  We are still taking obedience classes, right now we are in attention class and probably in late summer we will begin obedience trials.  She took 3rd place in the beginner's obedience class and she was 1 of 2 puppies in the class the rest were adult dogs. She is also in agility classes, she loves agility.  We are also working on duck retrieving, right now we are just working with the rubber bumper, we haven't made it up to retrieving ducks quite yet.  She is one busy little puppy but she loves to work.  We are still involve in our local Search & Rescue team, she is doing great with that also and eventually I will get a tracking title under her belt.  Our Search & Rescue group will be features sometime soon in our local newspaper so I will have to send a copy of the photo to you.  Thanks again for such a great puppy, we couldn't have asked for a better dog.
Take Care,

Marilyn,

I wanted to send you some photos of my pup.  He has gotten so big it
is unbelievable.  He is a good dog, only problem is - he loves to
bite.  Any suggestions.  Nuggett is from Star and Captain Morgan's
liter.  My son came home from Florida on his spring break to see the
puppy.  Most college kids go to Florida for spring break, he came to
PA for spring break to  see the pup.  Hope all is well.  Happy Spring
and Happy Easter.

Hi Marilyn,
I just wanted to send you a picture of Kona, our gorgeous golden who will be two.   He's from Cookie and Blu's litter.   What a terrific dog, calm, playful, smart and loving.
We take him do a doggie daycare a couple of times a month for exercise and a chance to be with other dogs and the owners of the place always comment on what a wonderful dog he is.
Just thought you'd like to see him.

Hi Marilyn--

Just wanted to share some pics with you!  The first one is the one you took of Hogan at your place before we came to pick him up.  He is the black ribbon male from Klondike and Sweet Pee's litter.  The second one is of our 15 year old Golden, Norton, and Hogan together a few weeks ago.  The third is Hogan last week.  He has become our 5 year old Lab's best buddy, and they play all the time.  Thanks again for a great puppy!!!

I would really like everyone to know what wonderful golden's you breed.  I can not stress enough what a beautiful gift, companion, and friend that Dreyfy is.  If I could have wished for a dog and received it - she definitely goes above and beyond my expectations.  She warms and blesses everyone she meets.  Thank You So Much for breeding such a wonderful friend.

Marilyn- just wanted to let you know that Gracie is doing well in her new home.  She slept almost all the way home-no problems at all.  She is adjusting well and loves her new big brothers (cats)  She already knows how to sit, lay, shake and stay......I took the week off work and we spent alot of time hanging out and learning tricks..I took her to the vet on Monday and the vet was very impressed. I think she is going to be a very melow laid back dog. I have enclosed a picture of her...she was out playing in the snow and came in all wet...so I got a towel and dried her off and she decided it was time for a nap....
I wil keep you updated on her and try to get some pics as she grows....Thanks again for everything.

Marilyn,

Just a note to update Utley's progress in his new home.  He visited our vet yesterday, Cindy took him in a clothes basket.  He received alot of attention from Doctor and Staff.  He had a stool test that revealed some parasites (normal) and received a tetnes shot.

The Vet said he was in great health.  The only negative comment was he is too ribby and suggested feeding him more.  Although this morning he didn't finish 3/4 cups.  Will feed him again at 12:30 and 6:00.

He and our 71/2 year old Shimmer are getting along great.  I'm glad she is doing well with Utley.  As you said, she lets Utley know who's number 1.  And she's helping potty train him.  She has new life and when Cindy took Utley to vets yesterday, actually missed him.

Will send pictures later.

Hi Marilyn

Just checking in to let you know "Barley" is doing great!!  Our Boxer, Sadie, is making the adjustment too.  She is doing even better than we expected.  We took Barley to the vet today where he received a great report.  He does, however, have some round worms still, so he will get more medicine for that.  The vet asked me to clarify with you when the last distemper vaccine was given.  His record said Nov. 19th but that would be impossible since he was with us then!  The vet also told us he was  going to be a big boy because he is 22.8 lbs. now!  She estimates approx 70 lbs!  I am attaching a photo so you can see him in his new home.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Hello Goldenpaws,

I am writing to let you know that we decided on a name for the Dark Blue boy we picked up this past Sunday.  We tried Yogi Bear out for a day but then decided to call him Kosmo.  I have attatched some pictures but I'll send more of him with the kids later as we take them.  The kids used their money to buy him a big dog bed and chew toys.  His favorite spot when he wants to take a nap is in the back room right in front of the door.  I guess because it's much more quiet there.  He seems to be doing good with our other dog, Lulu.  Lulu drooled at the mouthe for almost 2 days because she was nervous but now she likes to play with him.  That's all for now, we'll keep you informed of his life with us.  Thank you so much.

Hi, Marilyn,

I want to let you know how happy we are with our puppy, Finn.  When we met you and picked Finn out we were still mourning Tack, our 11 year-old Golden who died in mid-January, and hoping so much to find another unusually special dog.  It's a sure thing that we have. We're in love. Our family feels complete again.

And you were right, the heart murmur was gone by the next vet visit.  You really know your stuff, Marilyn. I'm so grateful that we found you.  I'll send more pictures as we go along.

Hi Marilyn,

I had to send you a quick email and share with you how wonderful Jack (green band) is with us. It was a good sign when we left your home and he was curled up in the back seat sound asleep until we got home.

He has even picked up on going to the bathroom outside. He's had a couple of accidents inside but for the most part he is doing an excellent job.
He seems to miss his siblings, mostly in the morning and at night. But the toy you gave him, is such a great idea and it seems to comfort him. He takes his naps in the tightest corner he can find. At night, we fixed a bed for him and he crawls between his bed and the dresser, so it's the tightest spot around.
He is not afraid of anything, and he thinks he's the boss...lol.... but he is getting the idea. We have a 13 yr old Sheltie that he just wants to play with. He tries to get her to play and when she won't, he huffs and walks away. We even had snow this first weekend with him home and he loves it!!! Bless his golden little heart. He jumps off the top step (the one he was afraid of 2 days ago)...and dives into the snow. He just loves it.
When I can get so pictures on the computer I will send them right away.
You are doing a great job, Marilyn. These dogs are happy and calm and it really shows. He is so sweet and lovable....we are so pleased.
Thanks,
Maureen & Randy Cole
PS~ He really seems to love chewing on my hair. So much that he won't let go....he is just the perfect addition to our family!!

Hi Marilyn,

I just wanted to give you an update on Savannah, she was one of the puppies from Pinkie and Klondike litter back in August.  She is doing great.  We graduated from puppy obedience class and we are just now starting beginner's class.  We also join up with the local K-9 Search and Rescue Team.  Our local SAR team is currently joining up the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) which our group will be the first K-9 group to join the CAP.  Savannah is doing great with Search & Rescue, she is in the training progress, our SAR president has inform me if Savannah keeps up with such a excellent progress she might be on her first rescue before she is a year old.  She is such a fast learner with both obedience and SAR.  She is the only golden retriever in the SAR group and right now she is the only puppy.  Our SAR group has had golden on the team in the past but never had much luck with them and the team did have a little taboo on having a golden in the group but Savannah has proved to them that goldens can do search and rescue and also she patient and hardworking.  They are all impress on how well behave she is when we are at practices.  Once she gets her SAR vest on she is all work no play.  Same goes for obedience which she wears a bandana.  Last Sunday she out performed the adult SAR dogs with our little obedience training before our SAR practice.  Erik & I are very proud of her.  Everyone can't get over how mellow she is for being a puppy.  She is a great puppy, Erik & I thank you for her.  I was wondering if you could email me a current photo of both Klondike and Pinkie, I would like to have a photo of both for Savannah puppy book.  I was looking at the photo of Klondike & Pinkie online and I think Savannah looks alot like her father, what do you think?

Well, have a great day and I'll talk to you later,

Christina Strohm

Marilyn,
Harley is FANTASTIC...he has brought nothing but joy to our lives. He is quite the handsome pup and I have gotten 2 requests for referrals to your place because of him.  Other than the occassional nipping (which has gotten so much better) he is a smart and very loving boy.  We love him dearly and he has won the hearts of his dog walkers and anyone else he meets.  The only thing that was worring me was his little eye.  I will keep watching it and it may require a visit to the vet but hopefully it'll all straighten itself out.  Thanks for your response and you should be getting calls/visits from at least 2 people for your pups.

Marilyn,

We have thoroughly enjoyed our first 18 months with Brady.  He's a very handsome pup and has made a great addition to our family.  He was one of a litter born to Sweet Pee and Blu in July 2006.  Brady has lots of energy, loves to run, chew and fetch balls.  Every morning he goes to the bottom of the driveway to pick up and bring us the newspaper.  He gets along perfectly with our 9 year old Golden, Jake.  I'm attaching a few pictures so you can see how much he resembles Sweet Pee.  He has a white mark on his chest and the rest of his coat is sleek, soft and red.  Thank you for providing such a wonderful pup for our family!

Marilyn,
Below are pictures of Murphy (Blu and Willow) and Gracie (Capt. and Laala).  Murphy will be 19 months in January and lives down the block from us.  He was over playing today and I thought you might like to see your babies together.  They got along so well and we look forward to more playdates.

Merry Christmas!

Here is a pictures of our family with Rudy – she is now 1 ½  years old.  A great dog – lots of energy, still training, but an incredible personality!

Thanks again.  Couldn’t imagine life without her.

We hope you have a Blessed Holiday!

Hi Marilyn,

Sebastian is doing great and loves life in State College.  He has already met the Nittany Lion after trotting (and being carried) a 5K at 10 weeks.  He is a well behaved and absolutely beautiful puppy who loves the snow and his favorite little Santa.  He took a trip to Connecticut for Thanksgiving and had the time of his life at the beach with my family.  My friends have determined that Sebastian has the best possible life - his only problem is getting tired from playing with everyone all day long.  Thank you so much for everything and I will keep you updated as Sebastian grows up.

Hi Marilyn.. Just wanted to  send a picture of Marvin (  light blue pup
from Captain and Stars litter last January 2007). He is almost
approaching that one year mark! I can't believe it as it seems like
yesterday he was just a little guy. He is bigger than his big brother(
Cooper) now. Cooper, my lab, had to go in for surgery and Marvin  was so
lost and depressed until his big brother came back from the vet. What a
sweetie... This picture was taken at Halloween. I have to say he is the
best looking Golden I have ever seen :). I tell him all the time he is
handsome just like his Dad. Hope all is well . I see Star is having
another litter soon. I bet they will be beautiful just like the last!
Take care

Marilyn,  Thought I would sent you a picture of Cedar, she is four now and has a "step brother" Jack, a black lab.  She has adapted well to him and keeps him in line.  They both got fixed in May, Jack is a year old now.  It was hard to get her to keep her "clothes" on this year.  I never had to use treats to get her to do anything I wanted but Jack does everything for treats.  So I had to use a treat for him to keep his stuff on and she would come to get the treat so she looks a little dishelved!!  She has been such a joy to us all these years, the perfect dog.  She is our "baby girl".  Jack is our "baby boy" and he is a hand full for all of us, even Cedar.  However Cedar keeps him in line!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!

Hey Marilyn,
I just wanted to send you some pictures of Sadie (
silver in Lala's July 29th litter). She has been such
a blessing. I don't know if you remember when we
picked her up you brought Captain Morgan in and my mom
said how much he looked like her golden Clarence. Well
sadly about a month after we got her Clarence passed
away at 10 yrs. They were best buds, Sadie just loved
him. It's been really hard on the whole family, but

Sadie has helped them cope so well. She is an angel.
And everyone that meets her just adores her. So thank
you for a wonderful golden. I can't see ever getting a
dog from anyone but you.
Love,
Laura

Hi Marilyn,
We are the Brennan's, we have one of the puppies from Magic and Blue's litter from May 2006. Well as you know she is not
a puppy in size anymore, but still looks for trouble whenever she can. Our family absolutely love the new addition
and we would like to share some pictures of Katie and our
family. Hope you enjoy them and feel free to share them on
your website.

Thank you

Hi Marilyn,

I received Savannah AKC application today from you.  I have one quick question.  Since you gave me full registration on her, do I need to name her with Golden Paws in front of Savannah.  I notice your dogs have Golden Paws and since she is from one of your litter I would like to put Golden Paws in front if you allow.  Once she has her own litter I will name my litter something else.  We started Puppy kindergarten class, she is doing really great.  She already learned sit, down, look, and stand and this week she started going on walks with my older girl dog, Cheyenne & I.  She does great walking.  She is such a great puppy.  Such a fast learner.  Let me know if you permit using Golden Paws.  I'll talk to you later.

Dear Marilyn,

We a celebrating  Caleb's (aka blackfoot from last Nov 6th litter) 1st birthday today. He  is such a character always doing things to make us laugh. Everyone he  meets is instantly won over with his playful personality and his distinctive black paw. He is a real joy to have around.Thank you and take care!

Dear Marilyn,

I am writing to let you know how Kyra is doing at one year of age. She is absolutely wonderful ,loves to swim, and has a great personality. I remember you saying that she was a keeper that you were going to keep if you didn't sell her.She sure is and I am so glad we got her. I am attaching some pictures of her so you can see how she grew up. This time I have reduced the resolution to get the file sizes down to a reasonable size.

Sincerely, Bill and Gail from Staten Island NY

Hi Marilyn!

We got a puppy from your Rachael/Captain litter about three months ago.
Brody is now almost five months and is keeping us entertained and
smiling! What a sweet little boy! Maybe we are just proud parents, but
he is such a good dog! He knows lots of tricks by now, loves playing in
our creek in the backyard, enjoys long walks, and playing fetch! We
wanted to thank you for giving us so much joy with Brody as the new
addition to our family. I am attaching a few pictures for you to see!

Thanks again!

Marilyn,

Just wanted to write and let you know how the puppy is doing and what his name is. We decided to name his Capitan Tequila. We call him Tequila. He is starting to come to when we call his name.

Tequila loves to help with the dishes. He can't get enough of our cat, chases his around the house. He also can't get enough of the outside. The day after we brough him home I took him outside and he loved the leaves. I will keep you updated on him..

Also wanted to see when we could be expecting the AKC papers?

Thanks

Hi Marilyn,

Bella  had a great trip home and could not be doing any better.  Irv was not 10 minutes from your house before he pulled over and put her up next to him.  She stayed there all the way, and he just petted her once in awhile and she was fine.

She was fine in her crate.....whined a little bit then slept all night.  We had a vet check on Saturday and he said she is great.....no worms in the sample we took but he recommended another dose anyway to be on the safe side.   He also recommended trying another food to get her to eat more so I started mixing the Proplan with some Hills Science Diet that he gave us and she is chowing down.

While in Arina's room, she found the Golden Retriever slippers that Arina got for Christmas last year and it was hysterical.  She started playing and nuzzling and when we put one in her crate for her, she curled right up next to it, as you can see in the pic.

We are convinced that she is the best puppy you have ever bred!  We'll keep you updated...

Have a good vacation and thank  you so much Anne

Hi Marilyn, received Gracie's papers today from you and just wanted to give you an update on her.

She weighed around 12 pounds last week when she went to the vet to get her shots, everything checked out good, she is just a joy other than around 3:00 am when she has to go out and is about done sleeping for the night LOL!

Pictures were taken this past Sunday and we just love her to pieces!

Hi Marilyn, I haven’t e-mailed you in about a year and I wanted to send some updated pictures of Riley since she is going to be 2 next Monday.  And I don’t think I e-mailed you after her surgery which went very well and you would never know she had her knee fixed.

As you can see from her pictures she is beautiful and we love her so much.  The one picture with the Rotty he is our neighbor’s dog who comes and plays with Riley.  She loves to play with other dogs.

Thank you again you breed great Golden’s J

Marilyn,

I wanted to let you know how sweet of a puppy we got from you.  Her name is Kasey & she was from Magic Ice/Blu litter.  She has fit right in to our family.  By the end of the first day, she knew where her food/water & her kennel was.  We have an open door policy on her kennel during the day & close it when we go to bed.  During the day, whenever she's tired, she goes & lays down in her kennel for a nap & then comes back out to play.  The first night she cried a little but by the 2nd night she would lay down around 10:00pm & sleep till morning.  The first 2 nights she wet her kennel but hasn't wet or dirtied it since.  In fact, she hardly has any accidents in the house.  She is so lovable.  When I come home at lunchtime, she's always waiting to say hello & is ready to play.

We do have a question.  We have been feeding her 3/4 cup of puppy food 3 times a day but she still seems hungry.  She sits in front of the door where we keep her food & cries.  She can barely wait between feedings.  She will be 2 months old on Sept 2.  Should we feed her more?  We just don't want to overfeed her & make her sick.

As soon as I figure out how to email pictures, we'll send you some.

Once again, thanks for the precious puppy.

                      Hi Marilyn,

The puppies have adjusted exceptionally well to their new home.  They
are absolutely adorable!  House training is going really well, only a
couple of accidents each.  Both puppies know how to sit.  They play
really hard with each other, but my Vet told me that's normal.  Dave,
the kids, and I are so happy they both have joined our family and our
very active home!  We gave them both a Big Kiss from you!

The first two pictures are Lexie Lu and Simba (Blu and Magic's
puppies) playing outside.  The third picuture is precious Simba and
the fourth picture is precious Lexie Lu.

Thanks again for our two new additions,
Michele

Hello Marilyn,
I have attached two recent pictures of TOBY!  He is from the Magic Ice and Blu litter born May 23, 2006.  He is such a JOY!  And as you can see by the pictures, he is so very handsome!
Thanks again,
Mary Ellen George

I attached some pictures of Teddy. In the one picture, he was rolling in the mud after a swim. His favorite thing to do is to go swimming and then roll in the mud afterwards. In the other picture, he is playing with some trash (another favorite hobby of his). He also loves to cuddle with us, as you can see in the one picture. He is doing so well here. His days are very full of activities, he walks, swims, we even bought him a dog bike cart that he rides in while we go biking. Everyone that has ever met him thinks he is the best puppy ever. He is so well-behaved, slept through the night from the start, and was potty trained within a few days. We couldn't have asked for a better dog!

Well send more pictures when he gets a little bigger.

                                 Hi Marilyn

I wanted to keep you updated on Henry.  Henry was part of the Blu and Chablee liter in July of 2000.  He just turned 7 and still has the spirit of a puppy!  He is sooo beatiful and of course everyone always tells us that he looks like a show dog.  There is also a picture of Henry with his sister Daisy who we got at the Golden Retriever Rescue of Central Pennsylvania.  We moved to Illinois last year due to our teaching jobs.  We purchased Henry when we were in State College in graduate school.
I wanted to let you know how happy we are with Henry - he has the best attitude and boy is he smart!  He always causes people to smile.

I will try to keep in touch

Hi and good morning,

Howdy?  All is good here!!  Bailey is still growing - pretty big for his age we think!!  I will enclosed a picture of him - we all enjoy him here - he truly loves go for a long walk :))  He is a very playful puppy - He doesn't chew furniture (that's blessing).. He no longer sleeps in cage except going somewhere - still uses cage for that.. He can be sweet puppy HOWEVER he nips a lot toward the girls pretty bad - we tried everything to stop him -  Even though when we pet him, he wants to nip - Also when he sees socks or underwears lying around.. He eats them - oh no!!  That's two of problems we are dealing right now..  Any suggestion what we should do abt his nipping?  My oldest daughter says it feels like biting - we want to prevent that - oh jumping too (when he gets very exciting - cannot control u know)... I know he can be very gentle dog that's Golden Retriever personality - we just am concerned abt nipping, et al - will that break?  Do other owner have the same problem with that parents Bailey have?  Please do let me know...  Many thanks.. U have a wonderful day!!  Enjoy the picture..

Hi Marilyn,
Just wanted to update you that Savannah doing very well, she has adjusted well to us and our 2 other goldens.  Our two other goldens are getting used to her, our boy Dakota took to her right away but our girl Cheyenne is just now warming up to her, Cheyenne is 13 years old and doesn't want to play anymore.  Dakota and Savannah play alot together especially outside.  Savannah is learning housetraining very quickly, we haven't had accident in about 5 days now, today she has gone to our door to go outside twice.  I think it helps having the other dogs around to learn faster.  Well, I'll keep you posted in the future on Savannah.  She is such a great puppy and we our glad to have her.
Thanks again,

Dear Marilyn,
Just wanted to let you know that Murphy is doing just great.  He loves his crate.  He has slept very good during the night. He never cried.  The only reason he got up during the night was because the kids came home.  But he only went out for a few minutes and within a half an hour he was back in his crate asleep.  No messes in the house so far.  He loves our yard. Sammy is getting along with him better than I expected.  He (Sammy) was afraid of him (Murphy)at first but is now starting to actually play with him.  Murphy is also starting to respond to his name.  They are such a smart breed.  I can't thank you enough.  Will send you pictures as he grows.

Thanks again,

Jim and Mary Hoover

Hello Marilyn, we had a really good ride home yesterday with no stops.   Gracie is just amazing we cannot believe her!   She has not had any accidents in the house and slept the whole night thru last night, no messes in the crate and no crying, I kept checking on her to be sure she was okay and she was sleeping away.   She has been eating really well and lots of sleeping and playing.    She seems to have settled right in with our family as you can see our grandaughter just loves her.

Hope all went well with the birth of the new babies yesterday they are so beautiful.
Thanks!

hope you don’t mind the monthly Photos.  If I don’t make it a habit, I would forget to send any at all.

In any case, Homer is very active and learns quickly, sometimes too quickly.  He likes to make everything a game.

Attached are some of Homers favorite things.  1 – The laundry basket, he longs to sneak up and take out some clean socks.

2 – His favorite toy, a pull toy that he likes to swing around and make noise hitting the floor.

3 – Laying on the couch and watching us going up and down the stairs.

I do get a lot of inquires about where I got such a wonderful puppy.  I hope you don’t mind, but I give out your website to all that ask.

Hi Marilyn  - its Jen and Rich Clark, We got Cooper (orange) and Chase aka Mr. Green Jeans (green) from the Capital Morgan and Star litter in February 2007.

Here are some pictures from Raystown Lake this year.  We were hoping to see you there, but I guess by the looks of your website, you have been busy w/ puppies.

Hi Marilyn~ Thought you would like an update on Marvin.  He was the  light blue on Star and Captain Morgan litter. What a great puppy! He slept through the night his first night. I have never had a pup do that!  He loves his big brother and boy do they play hard! It is hilarious to see the difference between him and Cooper. Cooper never stops moving and Marvin does everything in sloooooooow motion LOL. He has the  face of an angel so you never can get mad at him even when he eats your shoe( yes he ATE my shoe LOL)  I keep telling him he is a retriever but when I throw the ball he just looks at me LOL .Cooper doesn’t mind because he doesn’t have to fight for the ball.    His testicle never did come down so we are preparing for  a more extensive neutering in the next few weeks. I will keep you updated. He really is a sweet little boy. Thanks again

Hello Marilyn,
I have attached pictures of Tobys' First Birthday!  (May 23, 2007)  It is hard to believe that the first year went by so quickly!  Toby is from the Magic Ice and Blu litter.  He is so co-operative that he was willing to wear his party hat!  He is a big boy, weighing in at 77lbs.  We love him so and thank you for breeding such great goldens!
Sincerely,
Mary Ellen and Ken George

hey marilyn its me Dukie i'm on vacation in South Carolina we spent a couple of days at the state park at myrtle beach it was fun walking on the beach and playing with the other dogs but i didn't like the water my mom said that's ok even if i am a golden retriever not all collies are Lassie either

Hi Marilyn this is Steve Stiffler. I purchased Ace off of you a few months ago. I just thought you might want to see how great he is doing and how well he gets along with our other dog Winston the Puggle

Hi Marilyn,

I'm sorry it took so long to write.  We have been very busy.  We have named the boys Tanner (Green) and Teddy (Black).  They had a very uneventful ride home on Friday and were very good all weekend.  Teddy left on Monday for VT and had little trouble with the 7 hour drive.  He is already up to 8 1/2 lbs.  As you can see from the picture, he is in heaven playing in the snow with his sister, Annie.  Teddy is doing great as well, and although I am sure he has gained quite a bit, we have not had a chance to weigh him yet.

We would like to know what kind of shampoo you use - we really liked the way they smelled.  Also, did you say they were wormed once or twice already?

Thank you for two such wonderfully fuzzy additions to our family.  We are already in love!

More pics to come soon...

     Hi Marilyn,

I hope you made it out of PA ok and are on your way to soaking up some warmth.

Attached are some more pics of our babies.  Teddy (Black) is in VT.  Tanner (Green) is with us in PA.

Enjoy!

Hello Marilyn,

Here is Lola (Willow’s pup) at 10 wks old and nearly 25 lbs.  We are crazy about her; so cute and really very smart.  She sits, stays, jumps on command; and when we call her to come, she actually listens; unless she has something in her mouth that she refuses to give up.  We have to play chase with her to get stuff like that back.  She runs unbelievably fast too. When we let her out in the yard, I almost get dizzy watching her run in circles.  We are always getting compliments on how beautiful our puppy is.  We’ll update you with pictures from time to time.  Oh, almost forgot; this “smarty pants” climbs over her gate.  That didn’t take long.

Thanks so much for everything.

 Rhonda, Dave, and Haley

Dear Marilyn,

As I stated when we spoke on the phone.  We could not be more please with our puppy "Bailey", she is sweet, gentle, playful and a
absolute wonder with our kids.  We have 4 ages 9-2 years of age and they all love her and she loves them.  She has been great
since the day we brought her home.  She would sleep all night in her kennel, she was a good eater and very playful.  She warmed
up to our family within minutes of meeting all of us.  She has been healthy with no problems what so ever.  She plays all the time
with the kids, she slides down the slide, jumps on the trampoline, and oh boy I could go on and on about this wonderful dog.
If and when we ever get another one it will definitely be from your kennel.  The Vets were very impressed with how well the dog
looked,  how well she had been taken care of and how much you seemed to care about were the puppies went and how they
were doing.

We will continue to keep in touch and send you pictures.
Thank you so much
Michelle and The Scott Family

Just wanted to drop you a note and let you know how amazing our new little puppy is.  He is the purple band from Star's litter, we named him Xander and he is absolutely wonderful!
He has adjusted so well to our home.  Xander is so far pretty mellow, but has a lot of playful moments.  EVERYONE has commented on how beautiful he is and how pleasant.
He sleeps through the night and has since the first night we brought him home.  He is doing great with housebreaking (only 2 accidents - and caught him mid-stream both times).  He loves people, especially children, and really enjoys playing in the snow!

We just took him for his first Vet Check up and they said he is in perfect health.
(They did find that he has fleas, and in the fecal exam that he has worms - just wanted to let you know so you can check the pups you have left.)

We are so happy that Xander is now a part of our family.

Thank you for everything,
The McKinley Family

We will send pictures soon!

        Marilyn,

Today is Leia's birthday (Meringue and Blu's litter).  I think she's had a
great day.  First she went for a bath.  They hung a sign in the "spa" window
announcing her birthday.  Then she had a play date with her best friends Oso
and Otto.  She even got some presents.  She brought treats to share with her
friends.  Now she is "hanging out" with her Mom and Dad.

What I am trying to say is that Leia is our absolute joy.  We try to give
her as much joy as she brings us.  It is hard to believe that just one year
ago we were checking your website hourly to see if the pups were born and
then booking our hotel in Altoona.  Thank you so very much for our Leia.  We
think she looks just like her mom Meringue!

Pictures to follow.

Hi Marilyn,

Just wanted to drop you note to say hi, and to let you know our "former"
puppy, and now "big girl" is doing great. It is appropriate that I send you
this letter today since it was the day our other beloved Golden, Sabrina,
was taken from us way too soon. We thought our hearts were going to break
when she past away, and that no dog could ever replace her. We'll, no dog
could ever replace her, but, our little Mia has done a great job in helping
to at least mend a piece of our broken hearts.
Little Mia is a puppy from Blu and Willow, and was born on 6/6/06. Yup, and
she is every bit the devil, but a beautiful, happy, and very health little
devil. She loves riding in the car and sticking her head out of the window
(with doggie seat belt of course..), and it's fun to see people's faces, and
the smiles she brings to them. She is a great swimmer, and loves swimming
after ducks in one of the many lakes in Princeton. I have to tell you, she
is as smart as she is beautiful (looks just like Willow), and was learning
tricks and healing at a very young age. She has really brought joy into our
lives, and keeps our cat "Kitty" on her toes.
Although it took us 4 hours or so to get to you, it was worth every mile.
Mia has helped fill a hole that we thought would be empty forever. Thanks so
much for breeding such good dogs. Judging by other customer's comments, they
feel the same way as us.

  Regards,

   Jim Elia

Marilyn,

Our Zoey celebrated her third birthday on Dec 09, 2006.We love her dearly. Attached is a photo that I think says a lot about her disposition.

She is one of the gentlest golden that I have ever met.

Thank you so much for her.

is a quick learner but loves to see what she can get away with.

She is now 6 months old now and today is being spayed.

She is a puppy of Shasta and Blue born on 7/4/2006.

Thanks again!

Hello Marilyn,
I have enclosed recent pictures of TOBY taken on Christmas evening.  TOBY was from the Blu and Magic Ice litter, born on May 23, 2006.  He weighs 62 lbs. now and he  is truly a beautiful golden color.  He loves taking walks.  Many people have asked if he is a show dog!  We are so pleased with him in every way!  He brings us so much joy!
Wishing you the Best in 2007!

                Hi Marilyn,

Thanks for the Christmas puzzle, Kevin really enjoyed it. Did you receive our Christmas card with Truman? You have no idea how much we love this dog. He is such a joy, and I can’t believe how smart he is. I work from home and Truman is by my side most of the day. Harold says he’s my shadow. Well, he is until Kevin gets home from school, LOL!

We were so sad when we lost Clifford, but Truman has melted our hearts. Their personalities are very different, but they are each special in their own way. Thank you so much for once again providing us with a wonderful dog. I can’t believe he’s 10 months old already. It must be very rewarding for you knowing that your puppies are bringing such happiness to so many families.

I wish you and your family a very blessed Christmas,

Hi Marilyn

We wanted to say Hi and Thank you for such a wonderful puppy.  We picked her up the last weekend of September,  she was the last puppy from
King Tritan and Tasha.  She is doing wonderful............she is a perfect fit with our family of 6 (4 kids)

I hope you enjoy the picture

PS  The Vets have never heard any heart murmur..............just wanted you to know.

Take a look at our crazy dog who likes to go down the sliding board. The
girl pictured in the blue tee shirt is Rachel, Kali's walker who comes by
each afternoon to take her out. The little boy is her brother, Tyler. They
are SO good to her!!! It makes me laugh to know that my dog is outside
enjoying the beautiful day, playing at the park while I'm stuck inside at my
cubicle. At least she gets to enjoy the sunshine! LOL...

Kali will be 4 months old tomorrow.

Enjoy!

Dear Marilyn

Here is a picture of our Cody..we just LOVE him..he has been a wonderful addition to our family. He loves shoes..paper..and us..what a great personality..and no barking.

I was looking at your site today, and saw your new litters. We will be interested in another one in the spring time..or if you have a family that can't keep their new puppie or dog for some reason..please keep us in mind (if anything like ever happens.)  Cody would love a playmate, he is great with other dogs.

Your puppies are beautiful !!!!! Good luck. I tell everyone that if they are looking for a golden..you are the only one to buy from.

Take Care,  and thanks again,

Susan Nardone

Meet Cody

Hi, there!

My name is Lynda and I bought a golden from you about

a year ago. Well, you asked me to send you some

pictures of our boy, so now I am obliging! Check out

this web site:

Click on Hunter and you'll see the best shots we have of  him. Really, we love him so much. I am surprised at how obedient he is. He picks up on things so well  that sometimes we think he actually understands English! He loves *everyone*. That's one of our problems. He just gets so full of love and puppies when he meets someone new that he totally forgets himself. Luckily, he does not jump up, but he has been known to paw. Most of the time he just parades around with a toy in his mouth and growling for attention. LOL, I could go on about him for days! Anyway, if you want to take some pics from the site for your happy customer page, you're welcome to them .BTW, he's a very big boy -- just about 100 pounds, but I could not imagine a more gentle animal. He can whack his head off the coffee table chasing the cat, but it doesn't faze him. You should see him play with the cat -- such a soft mouth! He *gums* the cat, lol! Actually, he lets the cat win. One hiss from Alex, and Hunter backs off and lays down. Well, I just wanted you to see him and see that he's doing really well. We love him more than anything and he spends a lot of time curled up on the couch next to us . . . or wrestling . . . or chewing!

I'm sending you a bonus pic. This one hasn't made itto the website yet.

Thanks again,

Lynda Lampert

Marilyn,

In June of 2004 we came out and picked up Shiloh. We all have fallen in love with him ever since, and he is a wonderful addition to our family! He is the best dog ever! He is kind, gentle, and loving, especially with our children.
The happiness that he has brought us is priceless! We give him as much exercise as possible, and then at night we take him into our TV room and he snuggles while we watch TV together. He has a very high level of intelligence as well! He learns new tricks and commands all the time. He truly is sensational! Attached are a few photos of Shy. Thank you for everything!

Shilo /04

Hi Marilyn,

I hope you are able to receive this message.  I have tried in the past to email you but it hasn’t worked out.  I just wanted to let you know how our family dog is doing.  We have one of the puppies from Rachael and Blu that were born in January of 2005.  Her name is Kelly (full name Kelly Rachael of Warrington).  She is 11 months old and just went in to heat this week.  We are planning on having her spayed, but I have read and heard that it’s better for the health of the dog if they go through one heat before they are spayed.  So far it’s not too bad.  We are keeping one of those “diaper” type pant on her and she doesn’t seem to mind.

We are very happy with her.  She had turned out to be a very good, loyal dog.  She of course went through that “puppy” stage, and really, is still in it and I suspect will be for quite some time.  She really is pretty well behaved considering stories I’ve heard from other dog owners.   She has become very attached to me and seems to be at my side always….in fact, she’s laying down next to me as I’m writing this.

I’m attaching a few pictures so you can see what a beautiful dog she has become.  We always get compliments about how beautiful she is when we have her out with us.

That’s about all for now.  I see you have a couple new litters so I’m sure you’re pretty busy.  Have a great holiday!

Hi Marilyn, here is the Christmas photo of Me, Terry and Riley.  Riley is getting so big and we just love her to death.  I think she is finally house trained.  We can’t wait for my husband’s family to meet her, they live in Pittsburgh and we will be there for the holiday.

I hope you have a safe and happy holiday.

Hi Marilyn!

Hailie (black tail) is doing very well! She stopped crying after the first two or three nights. We are just having the standard puppy stressors (housebreaking, chewing, etc.), but overall she is a very good girl. Everyone is impressed with how friendly and gentle she is...she even met a baby last week and was very good with her even though I was a nervous wreck (the BABY'S mom was fine with it). We are trying to figure out how to get a picture on here with our new camera so we will send you one eventually...she is already so big compared to when we got her! She gets her next round of shots next week and at the last visit the vet said she was in very good health, not even any worms. Hope you are doing well with all the other puppies!

Sincerely,

Kaitlin and Dave Remensky

Hi Marilyn!

We wanted to write to you and send you a few updated photos of our BEAUTIFUL Taffy!!  We got her from one of your litters in the summer of 2003.  I believe Blue and Chablee are her parents.

She is the BEST dog in the world!! We couldn’t be more pleased with how she turned out!!  She is gorgeous, very loving, gentle, so sweet, smart, and playful!! She is a great companion and we get stopped everywhere we go.  Everyone wants to know where we got her and they say how beautiful she is.  As you can see from our photos, you should be very proud of her and the great Golden you have blessed us with.  We absolutely LOVE her!!!  She is so sweet; it’s hard to believe she isn’t human! We are hooked on Goldens and would recommend your puppies to anyone interested.  Thanks again for a great dog and family member! She is also registered online at www.dogshowusa.com  for “Cutest Face”.  You can view her photos and bio by selecting “Dog Gallery”.

(Sienna Mayernicks) Sweet Pee & Blue

Marilyn,

Here are some pictures of Sienna (Sweet Pee and Blue 2004 puppy) in her halloween costume and some others.  She will be one year old on Tuesday 11/22 so I thought I would send you a one year update.  Sienna is very healthy and happy.  We also get many compliments on how beautiful she is.  She loves to play with other dogs and we consider getting a new puppy for her to play with all the time.  She behaves very well, although she sometimes does something mischievious, like tear up a magazine, when we leave her alone.  She loves to be outside and go hiking in the woods.  I am sure she is very excited for snow this winter - she loved it last year.  Thanks again for such a wonderful, loving dog.  Take care.

The Mayernicks

Hi Marilyn, I have attached pictures of Riley on Halloween and with her toy golden.  Terry and I just love her to death.  She loves to be held; I think she thinks she is going to be a lap dog J   We have introduced her to some of the dogs in the neighborhood and she loves to play with them.  We have taken her for her 2nd round of shots and the 3rd round of shots will be next week.  Our vet says she has a very good temperament, I agree.

My husband has taught her to sit, stay and lay down which of course she does very well for treats.  She also loves ice cubes.  The house training is coming along slowly, she will be good for about a week then all of a sudden she has an accident but that’s OK she is still a baby.I will keep you updated and thank you so much for her.  She has really made us very happy to have her part of our family J

 Thanks,

Theresa and Terry Miller

Marilyn,

We can not thank you enough for allowing us to have one of your beautiful goldens. We just love her to bits. She has adjusted well to her new home and has made friends at the puppy play group (only for puppies who do not have all their shots and are under the care of the same doctor). Everyone tells us she the cutest thing they ever seen. She's just under 12 lbs and has recently discovered her tail.

Attached are a few pictures. We will send more.

Regards,
Christina Saunders

Dear Marilyn,

Here is a recent picture of our beauty, one of your puppies from Shasta & Blue's litter
that was born in October 2004. She LOVES our sun room and LOVES to watch for the rabbits.
When she sees one and we let her out, she is "fast as the wind" running after them. I have
to hold my breath as sometimes I think she will actually catch one, she is THAT FAST! She
also still loves to chase butterflies!

She is our joy and EVERYONE comments about how pretty she is when we take her out (in the
car, for a walk, etc.).  Our family and friends also comment on her beauty, but also make
a comment about how "calm" she is and how "smart" she is ----- and they don't even know
the half of her wonderful disposition and her intelligence!!

We thank you so very much and think of you often and check your web site frequently, as we
LOVE to see all your new "babies". We are even thinking that when Shannon gets a little
older (she is 1 1/2 now), when she is about 3, of getting another one of your "beautiful
bundles of joy" to come and be her "sister" or "brother"!!

We will keep you posted!!

Marilyn,

They have the most beautiful fur ever.  We just love our
'puppies'....

Marilyn,

I’m sending you several pictures of Lula since we got her in January.  There are a couple with our Corgi, Sonar, who is her major companion.  There is one of her on the beach.  She has become a big part of the family and we appreciate having her as I’m sure most of your customers tell you.  I doubt if you remember, but when we picked her up we were having second thoughts because we knew how much work it would be and it was every bit as much as we remembered.  However, it was worth it.  She’s great.  Thanks.

Hi Marilyn, I know you like to hear from "your families" from time to time.

We picked up our female golden "Sadie" on Valentines' Day and I've attached a picture

Sadie is doing great, she was almost house-trained when we got her home and it took her about a week to train us about when she wanted to go out to the deck and yard we have fenced off for the dogs.  The vet was amazed at her and asked where we got her, so you might get a few more inquiries from southeastern PA.  She's a very healthy, happy dog with a great demeanor.  She likes to wrestle with our daughter's Rottweiler and is making it more of a contest every day.  She loves chasing the squirrels when they get on the bird feeder and I let the dogs out the back door.

regards,

Leo and Georgette Fedor

Hi Marilyn,

Just wanted to say hello and tell you how happy I am to have gussy with me.  He is a lot of fun, he has such a great temperament and is very curious.  He can already do all the stairs in the house and sneak his way out of his crate and/or gate. He will definitely keep me on my toes.  Thanks again and I will send the contract out to you soon.

Hi Marilyn
Just wanted to let you know we are enjoying "Greta" very
much. She is so sweet!
Her house training is doing pretty good. She does go to
the door and whimper most the time and she is getting used
to her crate - she settles pretty quickly and sleeps about
6-7 hours a night.
I will send some pictures as soon as i have one of my kids
show me how! I'm not too great on the computer  as far as
sending attachments!
Thanks again!

Hi Marilyn,

Just took a look at your website...congratulations on your newest litter!  I am sending you some pictures of Daisy, but wanted to boast about how sweet and how smart she is!  In 2 days, she learned the "Come Daisy", sit, and lie down commands!  She also in about 10 days made the connection between standing next to the baby gate (when we want to keep her in the kitchen with us!) and going outside to go potty!  Now we ask her if she has to go potty and she runs to the front door!  In all my years of Goldens and Labs, I have never had a puppy who learned so quickly and one who is so young (just 9 weeks old)! Just to make the associations so quickly!  She is a real charmer and everyone who meets her falls in love with her....especially since she looks like a stuffed animal!  And what a sweet disposition!  She is pretty vocal but I guess she has a lot to say!

How are the puppies?  How is Chablee and all the other doggies?  Drew starts 3rd grade on Tuesday, so life should "quiet" down a bit next week!  Hope all is well!

Take care,
Wendy Hautzinger

Hey Marilyn!

Nikko is doing terrific!  We can't believe how big she is getting!  We thought we'd send a few more pics, and hopefully when you update we will see her on the happy customer pages with all the other cute little fuzzies!  This was our weekend trip to Dutch Wonderland to do a trampoline show.  Nikko was more popular than the trampoline between performances!

thanks for adding such a wonderful little darling to our family!!

This is Cedar, she is bringing in the floater in picture one, pictures 2-4 you can see that she has mastered the fete of getting on the floater all by herself!!!!!!!!

Hi Marilyn,
I just wanted to send you a quick update on McKinley.  She made the
long 7 hour ride home without any major problems.  She had an accident
immediately out of your driveway and then made it to within 10 minutes of
my house without another one.  She's very vocal.  She didn't like the crate
very much so I had a few sleepless nights. I stayed home with her all of
last week to bond with her.  She pretty much knows her name and can sit.
We're still working on the consistent come command.
I did notice that she had some fleas the first weekend that I had her
home so I called my vet and got the ok to put her and my cats on Frontline.
I also brought her in for a physical and a clean bill of health.  She had
some round worms but other than that the vet was very pleased with her.
She definitely has a very outgoing personality.  She's stubborn and very
vocal but I think with some consistent training she's going to be great.
We're also working on the biting right now too!

She's getting along great with the 2 cats and is really starting to adjust
nicely to the new surroundings.  She's very comfortable in my yard and the
kitchen and is just dying to get into the other rooms of the house.
Here's a picture from last week.

Thanks for everything.  I'll keep you posted on her progress!
Jeanne

We just wanted to update you about our little love, Shannon, one of Shasta & Blue's
October 16, 2004 litter. I saw on you web site that you were keeping the "Gold Band Puppy"
from the most recent litter and she is a beauty, just like our Shannon, who was the "Gold
                                    Band Puppy" from her litter!!
We just returned from our beach vacation in North Carolina and Shannon (now 9 months old)
did BEAUTIFULLY!!!! We were very nervous as it was last year in NC that we lost our 8 1/2
year old male golden, Seamus, on the second day of our vacation to "bloat". To take every
precaution, we took Shannon to the vet before our trip to get some advice and a "once
over" before we took the trip this year. She weighed in at 50 pounds. SHANNON WAS
WONDERFUL!!! She slept most of the way down and back, in between every 3 hour rest stops,
on our 10 hour ride. She loved watching the Pelicans and Sea Gulls (once she discovered
them) and loved walking on the beach in the water! She did not like the incoming waves and
would run from them but once they were receding, she would run into the shallow water!!
She also loved to dig in the sand!!!

I have attached some photos of her at the beach. We thank God for her, and for you letting
us have her, EVERY DAY!!! She is soooo good, especially for a 9 month old puppy!! She is
loving and gentle and very calm. Everyone we passed while walking her in the early morning
on the beach about how beautiful she is and we told them she is beautiful "inside and
out". And everyone who has been around her has remarked about how good she is and how calm
                                                                               and loving she is!!!!

I hope you enjoy the photos, and again THANK YOU SO VERY, VERY MUCH!!!!!

Sincerely,
              Christine & Dennis O'Shaughnessy

Hi Marilyn,

Here are some pictures of Toby & Callie.  They are the greatest puppies!  We have been having so much fun with them.  They love going on walks and playing in the water (especially with the hose).  We got them a little puppy pool and we take them to a creek near our house where they just started swimming!  That was so exciting to see.  We are trying to get to the beach with them soon too.  We're sure they will love that.  We also plan on taking them to a lake in the Poconos sometime this summer.  They learn so fast; they sit, lay, shake (with their paws), roll over, stay and come.  We are amazed at how quickly they learn!  We were looking at pictures of their mom and dad on your website.  Toby looks just like Blu and Callie looks just like Sweet Pea.  (Callie also loves to chew things - she must take after her mom).  We are so happy with our puppies.  They are so much fun and so gentle and well behaved.  I'm ready for a third and fourth, but I have to work on convincing Tom a little more...We'll keep you updated with more pictures and let you know how they're doing.

Thanks for the sweetest puppies,

Jen & Tom Voelker

Hi Marilyn, Sorry it's been a while since I have been in touch with you.  My computer was down for quite a long time, anyway, I just wanted to let you know that Koda is doing wonderful (he is from Shasta's litter in Oct '04) He is a little over a year and a half now and he is the best dog I ever had.  He is quite a character as you will see in these pictures.  When it is rime for him to lay down he has to have his pillow!!  He will carry with him whenever he decides to change positions, it's like his little security blanket.  We no longer crate him when we go anywhere, so he can be a couch potato all day while we are at work.  We have 15 acres of ground that we let him run on, unleashed.  He listens really well, as long as one of us is throwing a stick he will fetch it.  He is kind of like the energizer bunny when it comes to his stick.  He loves when my nephews come over to visit, they are 6 and 9, they love to play fetch and tug with him because he is so gentle, I love it too because they ware him out!!!!
The only thing he is not to sure about is my 10 month old niece, he pretty much puts up with her but when he has had enough he just gets up and walks away.  That is what I love about him, he doesn't have a mean bone in his body, except when it comes to strangers. Then he only barks and growls. He loves to go for rides in the car, you can't say car or ride around him unless you plan on actually taking him for a ride because he goes nuts!!!  Well I just wanted to let you know that my little baby boy is doing great and is spoiled rotten!!!  Here are some pictures.             Thanks again!!

Marilyn,

I got your message about our puppy.  I wanted to e-mail some pictures to you but I don’t have the most recent ones on the computer.  He was the red band one from Dakota and Bennie’s litter.  We live in Virginia but my in-laws live in Cresson.  We named him “Steelie” after the Pittsburgh Steelers.  He is a very handsome at 5 months.  He likes to chew wood so he has chewed his share of furniture and window sills so far.  He is losing his teeth now so I’m hoping the chewing stage is coming to an end.  We just got back from a trip to Pennsylvania today.  He gets car sick so we can’t take him too many places.  So far he doesn’t like to play ball like our other Golden but he likes tug-of-war.  We have two boys, 8 and 11.  They were so excited to find Steelie under our Christmas tree!  They absolutely love him…biting and jumping and all.  I’m considering obedience training for him soon.  He doesn’t like to be told “no” so he gets slightly angry when we have to correct him for jumping on people or the furniture, etc.  I’ll try to send some recent photos of him soon.  The picture I attached is not recent but he photographs beautifully!  I check your website often to see what is happening.  Do you have any information on his litter mates?  Dianne
