Back Paw

                                                                 Hi Marilyn

Just checking in to let you know "Barley" is doing great!!  Our Boxer, Sadie, is making the adjustment too.  She is doing even better than we expected.  We took Barley to the vet today where he received a great report.  He does, however, have some round worms still, so he will get more medicine for that.  The vet asked me to clarify with you when the last distemper vaccine was given.  His record said Nov. 19th but that would be impossible since he was with us then!  The vet also told us he was  going to be a big boy because he is 22.8 lbs. now!  She estimates approx 70 lbs!  I am attaching a photo so you can see him in his new home.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Marilyn,
Attached are some pictures of our Gracie born July 29, 2007.  We are so grateful for her and for your generosity.  She was named Gracie because it was God's grace that gave us all (including our first puppy) a happy ending.  Gracie is doing well. We got her registered and her full name is Gracie Gia Laala Morgan.  We like to name our dogs using names from their lineage.  The Gia is for God is awesome.
She took to the crate the first night very well.  Just a little whining and then off to sleep.  She likes a kong with peanut butter and some small treats when we leave the house though, otherwise she'll bark some.

She sits so nicely for her collar and leash to be put on.  She is learning to walk without pulling.  And her sit-stay is progressing nicely.  Just yesterday, I think she finally began to catch on to "lie down".

Gracie met her "uncle" Murphy (from Willow and Blue...I think) who lives a block away.  And she plays nicely with our neighbor's golden.  Our backyard is fenced in so she gets to run alot.  She especially loves all the leaves right now.

She's sleeping on my lap as I write.  She is only allowed up when I sit at the computer.  She won't be able to fit much longer so I enjoy it while I can.

She is losing some puppy fuzz and her coat is coming in a nice medium golden color.

This first picture is of Gracie in her "car seat" which she is too big for now.  The others are in our yard.

We love her so much and already she's a big part of our lives.  Thank you so much for all you've done.  You certainly went beyond anything we ever expected.  We are happy to recommend your kennel and puppies to anyone...and have!

Take care,
Leigh Ann Kozak

 Hi Marilyn,
I am writing to give you an update on Teddy, green ribbon from
Rachael and Captain's litter. I cannot even begin to tell you how
wonderful of a puppy he is. He's a very social, happy puppy. He goes
everywhere with us, and it seems as though everyone in town knows
Teddy by name. People always ask us how we trained him to be such a
wonderful dog. I always tell them that we brought him home that way.
Although we take him to puppy school, his personality is so wonderful
that we have not had any training issues with him. He is a walking
advertisement for your kennel. People always want to know where we got
him, and I always tell them to check out your website.
Thank you for breeding such wonderful companions. I can't imagine
our family without Teddy!

P.S. I attached pictures of Teddy.

My name is Donna Collins. My husband, Opie (our 9 year old Golden Retriever) & Rusty (our 7 year old Golden Retriver) live in Maine.  This past month our Brandy (11 year old Golden Retriever) put on her angel wings to travel to doggie heaven.  My heart still hurts for the sound of her "singing" at dinner time.

My husband suggested I look at websites of Golden Retriever breeders so if the day ever comes that I'm ready to get a puppy I will know a little more about the process.  We got all 3 of our dogs after they were puppies.  All from "kids" who turned 21 and really should not have them in the first place.

Why I am writing you tonight is to comment on how wonderful your website looks!  This was the first time I looked at puppies and didn't cry.  You love for Goldens certainly come across on your website.  I know the hard work that goes into a project like your sight and appreciate your efforts.

Hopefully one day when I'm ready to "fall in love again" you will hear back from me asking about buying one of your adorable puppies.  I like the idea that you don't ship.  My family lives in PA.

Thank you again for turning my frown upside down!  :)

Hi Marilyn,
We wanted to thank you once again for taking the time to let us visit with your puppies this past Saturday, May 26. We fell in love with your puppies but especially with Captain Morgan. What a sweet and loving boy.  My husband is set on getting a male puppy and would very much like for it to be one of Captain Morgans. Although you indicated you did not know when you think you would breed him again; would it be possible to get an estimated date of when one of his litters would be available again? I know this may be difficult to estimate and I know Magic (bred to Blu) will have a litter this August...and I just wanted to confirm that Magic is Captain Morgan's sister...correct? And also is Blu of a similar temperament as Captain Morgan's or what is Blu like? Also who was the girl that was bred to Captain Morgan this go around?  Thank you for being so patient with all my questions. Well as you probably already guessed, we are very much vested to getting at least 1 of your puppies (if not more ;o) but now I think its just a matter of timing.  So I look forward to your response.  Thank you.

Sincerely,
Rosemary (& Jhonny) Meneses

Good Morning, My name is Jennifer. I am currently looking at breeders to get a golden retriever from. My husband and i  are currently stationed in Kentucky. While here we were discussing getting a puppy. (our animals are our kids) we were torn between a husky and a retriever but after spending time with both breeds we decided on retriever's cause we love there nature and there smarts. As i was searching i came across your site. I have to say i have looked at many sites and this one is by far the best i have come across in this search. I just have a few questions. Considering my husband is currently serving in Iraq we will not be looking for a puppy till thanksgiving time(might not be till closer to December). I am currently wondering if you might have any litters avail. then and How much a puppy is in full. We currently have a Cat and a Pomeranian, whom we love and we are just looking to expand our family.  Any information you have is greatly welcomed. I have read alot and it seems this breed has a problem with hips.

Sorry to take up alot of time, hope you have a wonderful day and i hope to hear from you soon.
